My fiber art is the creation of quilted mixed media images using whatever materials I deem necessary in order to convey emotions and ideas that I wish to share with the viewer.  I have gathered my materials from thrift stores, designer boutiques, specialty shops in the garment district of New York City, my own yard, and my husband’s shop.  

From humble 100% cotton prints to luxurious hand-dyed silks and batiks.  From the soft sensuous velvet swatch to the square of brass screening.  Buttons, beads, organza, tulle, net, and fishing lures.  It’s all part of the fun.
